Filmmaker, author, professional consultant and national researcher William Paul McKay has a media and entertainment background that spans more than thirty years. He is an entrepreneur with a daring ability to take risks and a determination and drive his colleagues and competitors have long admired. From the entertainment industry to the national research community to the world of business and finance, Bill McKay has made his mark.

On any given day you will find Bill (if you can find him) in some distant capital of the world, meeting with a president, a king, a terrorist, a captain of industry, a religious leader, or a common citizen. You will find him in places most have only dreamed of experiencing or dared never to venture. You will find him with these people and in these places because he is a man with a vision, a hunger for knowledge and a commitment to a positive influence in the world.

Its no surprise that Bill would have the vision for this project. Among his many ventures around the world, Bill kept returning to one place, the nation of Israel. Since his first trip there in 1974 and the 55 trips that have followed, this place and these people have captured his heart and mind. Who would have thought that a 'California boy' of Swedish and Scottish decent, would fall in love with these people and this land? But, it was his relationships with Israeli prime ministers, generals, commanders and common citizens, and his relationships with their Arab counterparts, which would give birth to this project.

These leaders of the Middle East independently confided in him stories of what could be described as supernatural phenomena in some of the battles over Israel in 1948, 1967 and 1973. One day while pouring over the stories he had collected over decades, a film and television series began to take shape in his mind. He would go on to make his dream for this project a reality by investing much of his own money, blood, sweat and tears into a project his critics thought would never come to fruition.

While Bill is quick to give the credit to the team for the success of, "Against All Odds," if it had not been for the undying commitment of William Paul McKay, the world may have never known this fascinating segment of the 20th century. Bill's purpose and passion for making this film can be summed-up in his statement, "At a time when anti-Semitism is on the rise and the people of Israel are hated in many capitals of the world, I wanted people to discover what I have discovered: the genuine heart and soul of these people."
