Editor Roei Rinat is one of Israel’s brightest creative stars in the world of television and film editing. His editorial talents are in great demand for everything ranging from hard-hitting and clever thirty second commercials to short form and long form television and film productions in a variety of genres. As senior editor for AGAINST ALL ODDS: In Search Of A Miracle, he worked on this series for over one year, collaborating with writer / director Tom Ivy, who once made the observation that Roei Rinat was the first editor he had ever worked with whose editorial approach to material was so artistically in line with his own that he could trust a first cut on scenes to be similar to what he would have done himself. The two men were constantly observing how remarkably each seemed to think the other’s thoughts almost simultaneously as edit decisions were being made.
