Larry Mortorff
Executive Producer
Larry Mortorff, the Executive Producer of “Against All Odds,” needs no introduction. Larry is an accomplished film producer, having made over 30 films over the past 20 years. Among these films are MARIAS LOVERS, nominated for a Cesar; ROMERO, starring Raol Julia; the JUNGLE BOOK, released by Disney; PINOCCHIO, released by New Line; and the first two Dimension US releases, HELLRAISER III and CHILDREN OF THE CORN II.
Larry made the breakthrough films for Renee Zelwegger, THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD, and Reese Witherspoon, FREEWAY. He worked with Keanu Reeve in THE LAST TIME I COMMITTED SUICIDE, Martin Landau and Rob Schneider in PINOCCHIO, and Christian Slater and Claire Furlani in BASIL.
Larry immediately caught William Paul McKay’s, vision for this project and was responsible for putting the coproduction deals together and using his vast contacts and resources to find the appropriate financing.
Despite all his success in the business, Larry has commented more than once, "This film and television series (Against All Odds), may be the most meaningful experience and project that I have been apart of." This sentiment is shared by almost everyone who was involved with this production. Not because this was the grandest production they had ever worked on, but because this film and series has come at a critical time, with a heartfelt message about the people of Israel.
