For the director and producer's of this series and film, finding Ilan Nachum was like finding a gemstone. Ilan has worked in the Israeli film industry for over two decades and has served as a director of photograph on many documentaries, television series and films. Ilan and Tom Ivy, the director, were a perfect match and developed a close bond though the filming process. Ilan's talent and expertise helped Tom nagavaite though some complicated and challenging filming sequences. The long hours and hot days in the desert promoted Ilan to say, "I would only do this for this man (Tom Ivy) and this project."
