Asher Gat
Production Executive

Asher Gat is a legend in Israeli filmmaking having been in the business for over 40 years. Asher has worked with some of Hollywood's most prominent stars from Frank Sinatra to Isabella Rosellini, Kirk Douglas to Michael Douglas, and Sophia Loren to Mel Gibson, to name a few. Asher has managed some of Hollywood's finest classics, such as, "EVERY BASTARD A KING" and "CAST OF A GIANT SHADOW". He has produced and managed films like, "IRON EAGLE II", "LEMON POPSICLE", "AIR AMERICA" and "CHAIN OF COMMAND", throughout his lasting career.

His commitment and contribution to this series and feature film was significant. He discovered the lead, Michael Greenspan and had relationships with the most talented production crews and editors in Israel. He helped the producers assemble a team of Israel's finest, to make this production a success. The "Against All Odds" team faced many obstacles in attempting to put this story to celluloid and had it not been for Asher's wisdom and strong resolve to scale the mountains, this film would have been left lacking.

Grant McKay, the Producer's Manager said of Asher, "He is a fine man and an excellent filmmaker. Hollywood tends to forget some of their old veterans, in favor of young talent who they feel are more 'in touch' with their market. However, I find that seasoned filmmakers like Asher are invaluable to the filmmaking process. Their knowledge, experience and vast relationships make a difference on complicated productions. It was an honor to work with Asher, he taught me a lot."
